I was born in 1977 in the vicinity of Moscow in Soviet Union.
In childhood I studied art fundamentals attending drawing classes and have been especially influenced by Russian peredvizhniks (members of Russian school of realist painters of second half of 19th century), impressionism and art school of Paris.
I consider myself a calm observer of the environment: street scenes of Saint Petersburg, Helsinki, Turku and Finnish province.
I’ve been living in Finland since 2004. Being a member of Loimaa unit of Finnish Art Society and of Art Society of Russian painters in Finland «Triada» I take part in group art exhibitions and hold personal ones.
In 2016 I launched my own Art Studio in Turku. After almost two years the Studio was closed down and reopened in 2020 in downtown Helsinki (Laivurinrinne 1, 00120 Helsinki). Welcome to my Helsinki Art Studio & Gallery!
My paintings are in private collections of Finland, Israel, Spain, Great Britain, Russia and USA.
